So, Guy Fawkes season is very much upon us and that means lots of fireworks. It also means wrapping up rather warm being November of course. We all love bonfire night however standing around for a few hours of a November night can get very cold.
I have created an ensemble of garments that I think are perfect for wearing on a cold bonfire night watching those colourful shapes in the sky. Made up of pieces from GANT and Remus Uomo Autumn Winter 18 collections.
As we know woollen garments are thinner and great for keep us toasty but everything seems to be Navy. Guys, that’s boring. Here we have an outfit full of autumn colour and very fitting colours.
Over the top of my shirt, I have gone for a Wool Rich Donegal Cable Crew Neck Jumper in Tartan Green Melange by GANT. Very warm and Regular Fit.
In addition, a cosy scarf of course. Also by GANT this Multicheck Lambswool Scarf in Golden Leaf will undoubtedly keeps the chills away. Plus, adds a dash of colour to the outfit.
For outer wear, a fully lined, part wool, Rowan Overcoat in Olive by Remus Uomo to keep it all together. Very big pockets on the outside with great inside pockets. I’m guessing money for the bonfire hog roast.
Then finally, some very warm brown suede gloves from DENTS (established 1777) with a button fastening to stop your fingers going blue.
Hope this outfit is of inspiration to many and hope you enjoy the firework displays and processions through the streets remembering the 5th of November.
Stay warm but most importantly, stay safe.
